We are very thankful!

 

To prepare for Thanksgiving weekend, our class discussed the importance of being thankful. We thought of many things that we are fortunate to have in our lives. Even though the weather was a bit chilly outside we were feeling warm and fuzzy while we thought of all of these ideas!

Here are just a few of the things we feel thankful for:

"I am thankful for my Mom because my Mom does me stuff." - V.S.

"I am thankful for my Dad because I help him wash his car and he makes me pizza." - A.A.

"I am thankful for my sister because she sometimes makes me feel funny and she makes me feel happy and I love her." - C.S.

"I am thankful for my house because some people don't have houses." - T.M.

"I am thankful for my food, my house, my Dad's car, my Mom's car, and the turkey, and that my auntie has a cottage." - R.B.

"I am thankful for... that my dad has a Porsche and that we have a TV and for food because some people don't have food to eat so that they can live." - J.H.

"I am thankful for my Dad dropping me to school because he takes really good care of me." - E.R.

"I am thankful for my Mom and my house and I'm thankful for the car too because sometimes my Mom and Dad drive and they take me places." - J.S.

"I am thankful for my brother because I take care of him." - L.E.

"I am thankful for Remembrance Day because it's on my birthday. Mr. Edwards' dad was in the army." - D.N.

"I am thankful for my food because it's yummy. We don't feel hungry." - E.Y.

"I am thankful for being a scarecrow for Halloween. I am lucky my parents buy costumes. My parents are really good." - A.K.

"I am thankful for having a school because I have a nice teacher and that my family loves me." - A.V.

"I am thankful for my Mom because she takes care of me and makes sure I'm okay." - K.B.

"I am thankful for staying home with my Grandma because it's cool when I stay with her because she does whatever I ask her to do." - E.C.

"I am thankful for making my bed because if I don't make it then it will be messy. Right now we are going to see my cousins and Grandma and I am thankful to see my cousins." - M.D.

"I am thankful for food because it's yummy and I would not survive without it." - B.I.

"I am thankful for going to school because school is where you learn a lot." M.K.

"I am thankful for people who don't have clothes and food because I help them with... I give them food and shirts. It makes me feel happy to give them clothes and stuff." - A.S.
