Be Media Smart!

As part of our learning about the media, we watched an informational video about commercials. Our class learned a lot! We noticed some of the techniques used to make us interested in buying different products. Take a look at some of the ideas we recorded on the chart paper!

Later this week we will analyze more commercials to apply our learning from today and to determine the overt and implied messages in them!

As an extension to our learning, please have your child complete the homework activity 'Be Media Smart!' at home.

This homework is due on Friday, January 11th. We will be sharing our homework with the class on Friday.
