March Break Homework

March Break Homework:

Reading

Students have taken two levelled readers home so that they have access to lots of reading material! Reading everyday things (e.g., signs, advertisements, menus, information packets, maps) is also a great way to add some reading to your family's vacation!

Brainstorming

Our class is incredibly excited to begin our next unit of study after the March Break. We'll be learning about narratives and how to make a difference in our community by writing powerful stories. Students are encouraged to brainstorm ideas with their families (and have fun thinking about them!) so that everyone can enjoy the creativity that comes with this unit!

Please remember that the Story Idea Planner is optional and is simply a place for your child to record ideas if he/she chooses.

Have Fun!

Why is it hard to play cards in the jungle?

Because there are too many cheetahs!

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday! :)
