We love Day 100!

As many of my students know, Day 100 is my favourite day of the school year! The number 100 is so much fun to learn about! I was incredibly impressed with the collections everyone brought to school. We saw pennies, candy, marbles, Pokemon cards, Legos, and so much more! As part of our math lesson, students discovered that counting by 10's was much faster than counting by 1's. Here we are grouping our collections into piles of 10 and representing our collections on paper. Tomorrow we will have a chance to look at some of the strategies we used to show the number 100 in a clear way!
